Music Teacher

Dear Students and Families,

In this time of uncertainty I think it’s important to make time to be creative and enjoy beautiful art and music. Each week I’m going to provide some musical activities that you can do at home. Pick whichever one interests you the most! Each week, I will post a new list of activities for music. Feel free to choose more than one to do each week, but don’t overwhelm yourself. If you have brothers and sisters at home, it might be fun to do these activities together! :)

I’ve also put together a longer list of other musical activities you could do at home- I will try to update this list while we go through this adventure together. I would LOVE to see any pictures and/or videos of your music making- if you send me an email I will always send you a message back! I’m happy to help teach you how to take videos and send them to me if that is new for you and your family. Another teacher set up a youtube page active with videos of her singing, telling stories, and playing instruments, so feel free to check that out here

I love you and miss you all very much, Venture musicians! Stay safe and healthy, and feel free to email me anytime! I will get back to you immediately from 9-11AM on weekdays.

Musically,

Miss V. (VanValkenburg)

PS- If you’d like to use your chromebook to send me a video or picture, that teacher made a how-to video here.

PSS- Here's a fun video another teacher made about how to stay safe:
